Peter Kardia was an inspirational art school teacher who taught a generation of British sculptors and artists at both St. Martin’s School of Art and at the Royal College of Art between the years of 1960 to 1986.

Also our project for the LFA (London Festival of Architecture) 'Sensory City' is currently showing at AND eventSpace in Whitechapel... it is an evolving exhibition and event which is gathering evidence and elements which expresses London's identity.... images, sounds, videos...

Inferno on the Doorstep

After the night (13th June 2017) it happened I had walked out of my residential street to go on to the local Tube station to make an anticipated visit somewhere. However, although it was early morning I found I could hardly move anywhere long enough to be able to travel easily out of my area. The street  was mostly empty and cordoned off with police on bikes zooming protectively about.

“7 hours…” organised by Helena Hartmann took place on a bright but cold day in February. The performance event was part of a collaborative series between AND eventSpace and the RCA Society which invited submissions from artists to use the gallery space for “One Day…”.
